A free platform game with fantasy creatures that keeps growing
Zappilon is a free browser platform game with its own fantasy creatures, the Zappilon. Its campaign has eight handcrafted pixel levels with obstacles, secrets and wild Zappilon. Weaken them in turn-based battles and try to catch them with Sparkle Balls. After the final built-in level, signed-in players can request more: pick a surprise or share a short idea. New levels are matched to the team and difficulty, then tested by a play bot before they unlock. Play the campaign without an account; new levels and group leaderboards require sign-in.
Every new level is play-tested
The generator considers your team and difficulty. A play bot checks each level in the real game engine before it unlocks.

New levels can include collection and battle quests, new Zappilon, special items and freshly composed melodies.

How do I play Zappilon?
Click “Play free now” to load the game. Use a keyboard: ← and → to move, Space or ↑ to jump, and X to throw a Sparkle Ball and start a battle.
Can I play Zappilon online for free?
Yes. Play all eight built-in levels free online, with no account. Jump through pixel levels, catch wild Zappilon and fight turn-based battles. Sign-in is only needed for new levels and group leaderboards.
How do I get through Cucumber Castle (Level 1-7)?
Cucumber Castle is level seven. Jump across the dark castle platforms, collect cucumbers and press G to throw them at pumpkins blocking your way.
Is my progress saved?
Your profile is stored locally in your browser. It does not sync between devices. Clearing browser data also removes local saves.
How do I catch wild Zappilon?
Meet a wild Zappilon to start a turn-based battle. Weaken it with moves, then choose a Sparkle Ball from the battle menu to try to catch it.

How do groups and leaderboards work?

Finish the eight built-in levels, then press Space or Enter on the win screen. Choose a surprise or describe an idea in up to 40 words. Sign-in is required; each profile can get at most one new level per day. Levels are matched to your team and tested by a bot before unlocking.
How long can I play each day per profile?
Each profile gets 20 minutes of active play per day. An in-game countdown shows the remaining time; the timer resets on the next calendar day.
